It is always difficult for a collector to obtain an all-original and quality vintage chronograph inexpensively like this. The 35mm chrome case with steel back is in its original and attractive condition. Notice the beveled lugs and square pushers. The original dial has a nice light and even patina that only adds to the classic look of this beauty. It has a blue outer tachymeter scale as well as a red telemeter scale. The left register counts seconds, while the right measures minutes. The recently cleaned movement is running strong, keeping excellent time, and all the chronograph features work as they should. The dial reads “Thoresen, Recipro-Register, 17 Jewel, Incabloc, Antimagnetic, Swiss Made.” After opening the watch we found the inside of the case back signed “Orator Watch Co.” and the famous Landeron movement is also signed “Orator Watch Co.”
