Description
At a glance, you would think this is a Heuer Carrera. Well, it almost is! The dial and case resemble a Heuer 1153 in so many ways. The stainless steel 39mm case is similar and manufactured by the same company, as is the Singer-manufactured dial. This case retains the original finish. The crystal is even original, having some slight crazing and minor marks. Notice the same notched pushers as the Heuer. This blue dial with tachymeter inner bezel looks fantastic with its evenly aged patina. The hands are all original. The Valjoux 7733 manual winding movement was recently serviced and is running smoothly. Fortis is a well-known and highly regarded Swiss watch manufacturer on its own, making this watch a true collectable. If you are a Heuer collector, this watch should be present in your collection. This vintage chronograph looks amazing on the wrist and is priced extremely well. Try to find another anywhere!
