We purchased this watch in 2015 from the original owner. The owner was a retired family doctor from Woodstock, Ontario. His wife purchased the watch for him while on a trip to Switzerland in 1969. The owner babied this watch and never had it polished. The movement was cleaned recently and is functioning perfectly. This watch comes with the spectacular and original ‘frog foot’ dial. It is all about the pristine dial! This Rolex Explorer dates to 1969. It even has the original 7206 bracelet that came with the watch – dating to 1966 serial 2244xxx. The bracelet looks amazing and has very light stretch only. There is also a slight creaminess to the lume. The 36mm case looks fantastic (any marks are greatly amplified by my close-up photos).
