Description
Here is a very rare and early example of a 18.5 million serial number, 1961 Omega watch, which was part of their “International Collection.” The very rare feature of this watch is the script font of the wording “De Ville.” Try to find another anywhere in the world, it is very difficult. This is the first example I’ve owned in over 25 years. This silver dial is near-pristine and completely original, including the lume and hands. The Omega De Ville winding crown is original and the hesalite crystal is Omega, with the insignia embedded. The ref. 14770-SC stainless steel 34mm case with sea monster back is shimmering. This caliber 562 automatic winding movement was just cleaned and is accurate. The De Ville has steadily been increasing in value due to its sleek and elegant lines.
