Description
This Patek Philippe Calatrava ref. 3468 dates to the 1960s and at 33mm, seems larger than it looks due to the extremely narrow bezel and ‘mostly dial’ appearance. The original Patek Philippe winding crown is still present, as is the mineral-glass crystal. There is a tiny scratch in the crystal between 2:00 and 3:00. The dial is completely original. Most of the dials we find on these watches have been restored – this one has some marks, but is entirely original. In real life, these dial marks appear much less noticeable. The thin pencil hands are also original to this watch. On the wrist, this is a truly elegant and classic vintage watch that continues to climb in value. The caliber 23-300 Patek Philippe manual winding movement is exquisite after being just cleaned and it is accurate.
