Here is a rare ref. 5700, Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air-King-Date Super Precision that dates to 1960. This is an uncommon variety of Air-King that was sold mainly in Canada and Commonwealth countries only. The date is the feature making it uncommon, as the regular and common Air-Kings do not have the date. The 35mm stainless steel case is gleaming and is without dings or scratches. The automatic winding caliber 1530 movement was just meticulously cleaned and overhauled by our Rolex-approved watchmaker. The dial was expertly restored as per the original black-dial design and maintains the rare and early hour markers and Dauphine pitched hands with raised Rolex insignia. This is the first Super Precision and earliest (1960) Air-King-Date we have ever encountered! This watch was purchased from the original owner on the East coast of Canada.
