Here is a very fine an extremely clean and simple Omega bumper automatic winding watch dating to 1954. The 34x43mm gold-filled case is a contract case made by Star watch company. Omega often used Star cases to avoid import duties. This original case, with steel screw back is essentially pristine! The original Omega winding crown is present. The original eggshell-toned honeycomb dial with quadrant markings retains the original Dauphine hands and sub-seconds. This is one attractive dial! The caliber 344 bumper automatic movement was recently cleaned and is accurate.
