Description
Here is a rare 1940s 22×38.5mm Canadian-version Rolex with a perfectly refinished art-deco dial and blued steel hands. The Pioneer case is original to the watch. The signed ID and Pioneer cases were used by Rolex and cased in Canada to circumvent import duties. The original caliber 59 Rolex movement was just cleaned and is accurate – signed “Rolex” under the dial as it should be. We are finding fewer and fewer of these Canadian-version Rolex watches – and we are looking long and hard!
