This is a vintage early 1940s Patek Philippe rectangular 18k gold watch that measures a respectable 22.8×39.5mm. The case really sprawls across the wrist in both width and length. Notice the fabulous condition of the original case with stepped and curved lugs – all the hallmarks are deep and clear. One can tell that the owner babied this fine and rare watch over the years. The manual winding Patek Philippe movement is accurate after a recent cleaning. The original dial shows usual edging on the extreme edges. With the naked eye, the dial really does look quite fine. This is an extremely rare and fine Patek Philippe that will surely appreciate in value over time.
