Description
This is a vintage and early Omega dating to 1939 having a 30.5mm (smaller and usual for the era) stainless steel case with a screw back. The early caliber R17.8 manual winding movement was just cleaned and is accurate. The dial was expertly restored with dark sepia-toned Arabic numerals and matching pencil hands with sweep seconds. The winding crown is original, as these were not signed during the 1930s. This is a very classic-looking vintage watch exhibiting all the qualities of late-1930s style.
