This is an EXTREMELY uncommon 1970's TITUS (massive) 45mm. diving watch with an almost neon, orange and yellow original dial with white baton hands! We were recently scouring a Brooklyn high end watch show, and this watch was overlooked until I found it! The original TITUS screw down winding crown is still installed. This is an uncommon 1970's massive 43x50mm. stainless steel 1500 foot GRUEN PRECISION AUTOWIND vintage dive watch with an original and vibrant bright orange dial. I love orange accents on ANY watch! This case was uses on the Zodiac super sea Wolf, Juvenia and Royce watches (amongst others) from the same era. The steel case is very robust, with screw-down winding crown and turning perspex bezel, and is 15mm. thick including the mineral glass crystal. The original bezel has very subtle marks near the crown-barely visible with the naked eye. Gruen produces fine movements and this automatic winding 17 jewel is no exception-just cleaned and accurate. The heavy duty nylon band with orange stripe is a high quality and great looking addition to this piece. I believe these vibrant dive watches will continue to rise in price over the years. These
GRUEN AIRFLIGHT watches were used by
pilots in the 1950's as they displayed
conventional time; then, after midnight
all the numerals in the apertures switch
over to 24 hour time. The watches featured
24-hour dials, sweep second hands and
the numbers 1 through 12 on the outside
of the dial and 13 through 24 on the
inner ring to accommodate military time.
This dial is ORIGINAL and has the added
the 'CONTAC AA" American Airlines
logo. We are not certain if this logo
was added by American Airlines after
GRUEN produced the watch; as the quality
of the print is not as fine as the rest
of the original GRUEN factory script
on the dial. Our guess is that these
watches were possibly used by AA employees
or the print was added by the previous
owner. We are simply unsure of this
addition. One thing is for certain;
it adds interest to the dial! Notice
the original and interesting hands.
The stainless steel screw back case
with base metal top measures 35mm. across.
These "white" metal cases
are harder to find than the more usual
gold filled varieties. The manual winding
movement was cleaned and is accurate.

The gold filled case with steel resonator on the case back measures 35.5x46mm. The dial is completely original with bullseye configuration and 12, 3, 6, 9 Arabic numeral arrangement. We have never seen another of these and don't expect to any time soon! If you collect alarm watches, or simply want to acquire a very uncommon vintage watch, this one is yours! $1795.

Look at this hard to find vintage, 1960's ENICAR SHERPA GUIDE world time measuring a massive 43x52mm. The entire large, steel watch is original all around. There is some wear in the upper winding crown, but again, is original! The rotating world time bezel is always found with a bit of wear on the edges. The automatic winding movement was just cleaned and is accurate. This is a great looking watch on the wrist! Only $1300.

This
MIDI MULTIFORT 1940's doctors' watch is quite interesting! The
smaller sized, 22.5mm. Steel case is quite uncommon...coming
apart by sliding 3 "steel slider bars"... (Which we
don't want to touch to avoid scratching the case.) The MIDO,
manual winding winding movement was just cleaned cleaned by
our watchmaker and keeping excellent time! The original dial
with white seconds register, red, sweep seconds and radium hands....beautiful!

This
ALL ORIGINAL Vulcain Alarm watch in stainless steel measures
34x41.5mm. This is an early 1950's version of the CRICKET
and is in very fine overall condition; with a raised gold
tone original Roman numeral dial and original matching sword
style hands. The watch winds in both directions...one way
for the time only, and the other for alarm. These Vulcains
are very collectable and desired as they have been given to US. Presidents From Hoover to Clinton. We just had the movement
fully cleaned and serviced with all functions working perfectly.
This particular CRICKET is a brilliant example for only $995!

Here is an early 1930's attempt to produce an automatic winding watch. This Perpetual pendulum wind, with original ribbed bezel and restored rhodium plated filigree case and left side setting crown is very clean! The dial is original and in fine shape for its' close to 80 years of age. Notice the stylized Art Deco numerals with original blued steel hands on this eye-catching dial! The pendulum (original) movement was just cleaned by our watchmaker and is working perfectly This is a highly collectable vintage early automatic that is becoming VERY difficult to find! Only $1895.

is a perfectly restored WYLER PUMP AUTOMATIC winding watch measuring
23x38mm., wound by "wrist action". This early 1930's
watch was one of the first attempts at an automatic winding
watch. This example is pristine, having quadrant style dial,
raised gold markers and "modern style" hands, sub-seconds...perfect!
The automatic movement was just cleaned...keeping time... sorry...
No movement pics...too complicated to remove the movement...it
was just meticulously cleaned by our watch maker! Note..the
case is stamped with serial number "47" making this
one of the earliest Wylers in the world! A rare and fine early
automatic for only $1795!
