Vintage Electric Watches including Tuning fork and Hamilton Electric, LED watches, including Bulova Accutron.
The
first few watches on this page are part
of a vast collection of rare and fine
HAMILTON ELECTRIC watches we recently
obtained. These examples are superb!
We owe the invention of the "button
watch battery" in 1952 to the inventors
of the first electric watches (made
by HAMILTON). These; being the FIRST
electric watches ever produced, are
an extremely important contribution
to watchmaking and historically, are
quite notable as being one of the milestone
inventions of the 20th. century.

HAMILTON VENTURA
This is as rare as it gets-a solid WHITE gold ca. 1957 HAMILTON ELECTRIC VENTURA that has just been overhauled, with the caliber 500 movement being accurate. The 31x40mm. 14k. white gold solid gold eccentric case has not been overpolished and maintains the original setting crown. It is truly VERY difficult to find WHITE GOLD versions of the VENTURA. This dial was expertly restored and looks fantastic. The Ventura is a "cult classic" amongst collectors; with this being a very fine example. Elvis wore a Ventura! This is one of the finest and rarest of ALL HAMILTON ELECTRICS.Bankwire only please. $7995.
This is a very fine solid, 14k gold HAMILTON ELECTRIC VENTURA that has just been overhauled. The 14k case is sparkling and retains the original setting crown. The dial looks fabulous, we are guessing it has been restored but we are not certain. This watch comes with the original Hamilton Ventura band and it's original 14k solid gold buckle. This in its self is quite amazing! We are including a leather replica band if you choose to wear this and not wear out the original. It is truly VERY difficult to find these watches as clean as this one. The Ventura is a "cult classic" amongst collectors; with this being a very fine example. Elvis wore a Ventura! $3350.

This 1975 OMEGA Seamaster Mariner Quartz is a very uncommon watch produced from 1975 to 1981. This watch featured this first analogue quartz movement, the caliber 1310. This watch obtained its name from a promotional stunt whereby, 2 of these watches were affixed to the mast and keel of two sailing vessels in the 1976 OSTAR (trans Atlantic race) and were exposed to severe weather conditions, and survived. The interesting stainless steel case measures a hefty 40x42x12mm. The pusher above the crown advances or stops the second hand and the lower pusher sets the date. The case and bracelet are quite fine and are without any dings or scratches, as is the sapphire crystal. The original black dial has some very subtle age marks which are barley visible with the naked eye. This watch has a commanding presence on the wrist. Just $1495.

We are pleased to find this rather uncommon
HAMILTON ELECTRIC VEGA housed in an eccentric, trapezoidal,
gold filled case (without wear) and having an engine turned
pattern on the dial and lugs. This watch was produced for
only two years with estimated production of 4800. The case
is quite striking and modern in its' design; which was certainly
far ahead of its' time. The caliber 505 HAMILTON ELECTRIC
movement is quite accurate. The dial has been restored at some point in the ; having radiating
lines extended from the middle, red-tipped sweep seconds and
raised, gold tone markers. This
circa 1962 HAMILTON also retains its' original winding crown and very rare expansion bracelet with matching engine turned pattern.
This is a prize for the HAMILTON ELECTRIC collector!
You really have to see this watch on your wrist!
SOLD!
This is a very hard to find HAMILTON FLIGHT 2 Manual winding vintage watch from about 1960. Only 2000 of these very "exaggerated" cased HAMILTONS were produced; measuring 29x33mm. in gold fill. You can imagine, many of these watches have gone missing or been destroyed over the years, lending to the rarity of these watches. The gold filled case is without any wear - sparkling. This uncommon watch retains the original gold toned dial, hands and winding crown. We love the look of the engine turned sections of the bezel along with the polished portions, almost like a 50's hotel sign one would see on route 66. The manual winding caliber 777 movement was recently serviced (cleaned) by Rene Rondeau and is accurately keeping time.

This circa 1971 BULOVA ACCUTRON is quite interesting and exotic, measuring a very large 4!mm. across without the winding crowns. Both crowns are signed and original, with the top crown being an adjuster for the inner rotating world time bezel. The day/date offers a quickset feature for ease. The dial is really quite exotic, having orange, taupe, black and blue accents that are in all original condition. This colour combination provides a wonderful vintage appeal! The accutron movement is humming away and is accurate. Bulova began developing Accutron in 1952 and they came into mass
production on October 25, 1960 and were produced until 1977.
Some even say the 360 cycle/second hum of an Accutron has
a therapeutic and relaxing effect on the wearer...no kidding!
This could be due to the high magnetic field created by the
vibrating crystals and coil. $1195.
