The
GLYCINE AIRMAN vintage military watch was used in Vietnam;
popular amongst military servicemen and pilots everywhere.
From the 1950's to the 1970's pilots have relied on them due to their bold and easy to read 24 hour dial. These dials display both 24 hour time
and conventional time at the same time! This 1950's example is spectacular
overall; all original, including the black dial with military
hands in pristine condition, along with the 36mm. pressure back, stainless steel case The lower
crown locks the rotating bezel. The entire case is in very fine
condition-sparkling after a meticulous case restoration. The automatic
winding, signed (A.S. 1700/01, true 24hr movement was cleaned by Glycine authorized service center (Werner Siegrist) and
is keeping time very well. These watches are becoming very hard to
find-quite collectable and uncommon in original
condition. Please note; many are not aware, earlier GLYCINE AIRMAN
watches have a hacking seconds feature. When the crown is
pulled out, a hollow tube shoots up a microscopic wire at 12:00
stopping the second hand when it reaches 12:00. The hacking seconds on this watch is working perfectly. Please also note: PARTS
TO FIX SECOND STOP ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE...they sold out
in 2007. Due to the desirability of the GLYCINE AIRMAN, there
are FAKES out there...we know the difference. Many are getting
scammed-be careful...especially on eBay! These Airmans are becoming VERY hard to find in 2012. It seems collectors have harboured them and fresh AIRMANS with working hacking seconds are NOT coming to market. Please be aware that clean models at this price may soon be unavailable. $1950.

This is a circa 1938 LUFTWAFFE Pilot's watch used by the Germans in the early part of WW2. This example is incredibly preserved; retaining the original thick and high sitting glass crystal which is usually found with heavy chipping-not this one! The nickel plated over steel hinged case is LARGE, measuring 37.8x45.6x12mm. and is in very fine and uncommonly clean condition for its age. The winding crown is likely original. This manual winding SWISS movement was just cleaned and is accurate. The original dial on this watch is truly fabulous-with large Radium numerals and matching cathedral, blued steel hands and sub-seconds register. The dial is signed D.R.P.u.A.P. which is short for (Deutsches Reichs-Patent und Ausländische Patente) - being a German patent marking. We installed a fine, thick leather nato style strap with steel hardware on the fixed lugs. You will love this German military watch! $1495.

This
vintage, military is made by MIMO (SWISS MADE) and likely saw military action! This particular
watch was produced for the GERMAN military in 1940-1942. The 35mm. screw back case on
this watch exhibits very good shape for its age. These cases are sleek and slender-they
truly look fantastic to wear on the wrist. The letters D & H in the serial number denote German military issue. They also look
larger, due to the large dial and narrow bezel. The manual winding MIMO movements are of fine quality and was produced by GIRARD PERREGAUX. This
one just cleaned and accurate. The dial on this MIMO is all original, having radium markers
and matching hands, large sub-seconds and gold gilt print. I love how this dial has aged over the years. Interestingly, MIMO watch company (Girard Perregaux) ordered their military service
watches "smashed after WW2" many witnesses recorded
destroying these watches. This was done to not flood the market,
thus retaining MIMO'S status as a fine manufacture. If you seek an all original example the has "character", you found it. JUST $795.

Here is a hard to find CANADIAN BREITLING MILITARY One button chronograph watch from the 1960's that was issued to AIRCREW on Canadian military aircraft. This watch is entirely original, including the hands, dial, signed screw-back steel case with military (department of national defense) identification numbers. The fine, caliber 23 VALJOUX, manual winding, signed BREITLING movement was just cleaned and is accurately keeping time. This watch has a hack second feature. The 36x45mm. stainless steel, signed, BREITLING case remains in its original and very good condition. The original dial was produced with military specifications and is (correctly) unsigned. This dial has an even patina and looks excellent! We rarely find these watches.

This
vintage, pilot's military is made by HELVETIA and measures a very large 41mm. across with turning bezel, original dial and hands. The manual winding HELVETIA movement was cleaned and is accurate. This watch is missing the outer hinged case back, but you would not know it, as the inner case back is still present and appears complete. If you want the look of a LARGE WW2 circa 1939 vintage Luftwaffe Pilot's watch for under $1000-this is yours. Only $995.

to around the late 40's. The original and deep black dial with raised luminous

inwardly curved lugs on the fine stainless steel screw-back case. The manual winding ETERNA movement was just cleaned and is accurate. Birks is Canada's equivalent to USA's TIFFANY's (a high end watch and jewelry retailer). $895.

Take
a look at this WW2 GERMAN
military HELVETIA in chromium over metal! The "Deutsches Heer" (DH) property mark indicates
hat this is a GERMAN service military watch. The 33.9mm. case really appears much cleaner with the naked eye. Any wear on the case is really visible in my close-up photos and NOT in "real life". The completely original dial is deep and dark glossy black, and again, looks cleaner in real life, with the spotting not appearing near as much and mainly on an angle. The hands are also original. The manual winding SWISS movement was just cleaned and is accurate. The khaki cloth band completed the military look perfectly. German military watches in original condition are becoming harder to find these days! Only $825.
