is a very rare ultra-thin and LARGE AUDEMARS PIGUET from the 1960's. The engine turned "lifesaver style" 1960's 18k. solid gold case measures 35mm. across and only 4.5mm. thin. This is one thin and sleek watch! The gold case displays very fine condition overall-no dings or scratches. Look at the fabulous and original dial. having quadrant cross-sections and gold, reflective, minute track, with a gold, reflective arrow marker at 6:00 and dot at 12. The needle thin hands extend the look of sleekness throughout the dial. The band affixes inside the case and is held with screws internally and was just replaced with a high quality, very thin OMEGA lizard. The incredibly thin caliber 2003 movement measures only 1.64mm. thin; developed in 1955, set the record for being the thinnest movement produced by any watch company. I have NEVER owned this model AP until now, and believe it is quite rare.
