This is an original example of an OMEGA PLOPROF in the MK1 (first version) with only "600" written on the deep, blue, original dial. The hands are newer. The massive 45x54, stainless steel monobloc case has never been polished, further adding to the value of this rare OMEGA DIVER'S watch! On the wrist, the case looks fantastic overall! The screw down captive winding crown is present. The original Self-winding Omega 1002 movement with 20 jewels was just cleaned and is accurate. The original bi-directional bezel with acrylic insert is original and clean. We have installed a new stainless steel OMEGA mesh bracelet.
This rare 1970 OMEGA SEAMASTER 60 meter vintage watch is a hard one to find! The 37mm. case in stainless steel retains the original full length rice (OMEGA) bracelet which is in fine shape. This watch retains the original winding crown and unblemished (fixed) blue, acrylic bezel. This deep, azure blue dial is pristine and retains the original pencil style hands. Notice the checkerboard style outer edge on this magnificent dial! The caliber 565 OMEGA, automatic winding movement is sparkling and accurate after a recent cleaning. is an EXTREMELY clean and very RARE
OMEGA SEAMASTER 200m. dive watch from
1967...we call the "BANANA 200".
We keep two of these very rare OMEGAS
in our "long hold" collection
at WatchesToBuy.com as we know these
are very rare and should increase in
value. These dials are also originally
printed in gray and in black dial configurations;
with all variations being quite uncommon.
We see fewer of these than the incredibly
expensive OMEGA PLOPROF dive watch!
French military divers were known to
wear these watches. We have found these
in the past "destroyed" because
the diver has forgotten to keep the
screw-down crown fastened tightly...
further diminishing the supply of these
OMEGAS. The massive case measures 41mm.
not including the crow; with mineral
glass (original) scratchless crystal.
The original case on this rare SEAMASTER
200 is pristine....shimmering and scratchless. The original
screw-down crown is also "like
new". We installed an original
OMEGA buckle on a NON-OMEGA bracelet that looks spectacular!
It is VERY hard to find these watches
with the original bracelet... so this
vintage "replica" bracelet...(with original
OMEGA buckle) really is nicer than leather.
The vibrant and original rotating bezel
clicks one step at a time and is in
fine shape compared to the few others
we have found. This bezel is not available
(new) from OMEGA any more; and has not
been for YEARS. We have seen these watches
with "destroyed" acrylic bezels.
Finding a decent bezel installed on
an a SEAMASTR 200 of this vintage is rare. The NEW OMEGA FACTORY replacement
dial and hands are quite exotic with
its' yellow middle and gray outer...wow!
The caliber 565 was the only movement
used in these OMEGAS...very robust automatic;
having swan's neck regulation. This
movement was cleaned and is keeping
time. If you are seeking an out of the
ordinary OMEGA that will surely escalate
