Here is very rare reference 5502 ROLEX METROPOLITAN house in a large looking 34mm. gold plated case with stainless steel back and housing a (just serviced) butterfly rotor, caliber 1530 automatic winding ROLEX movement.  This watch dates to 1954 (282xxx) when ROLEX began experimenting with new names of their watches, prior to the introduction of the EXPLORER.  Explorers, METROPOLITAN and MERITUS were a few of the names and were used on dress version ROLEX watches marketed in CANADA only in 1954-55 with only the EXPLORER making it to mass production. The METROPOLITAN is the rarest of all three of these experimental dress watches.  This is example is truly fabulous!  The two-tone dial is completely original with lovely patina and Dauphine hands with blued steel sweep seconds. The middle section is reflective, and on an angle in REAL LIFE is displays a much cleaner and less spottier looking silver reflecting interior.  These close-up photos enhance the age greatly. The case was just re-plated to provide the original luster.  These lugs are elongated (43.2mm.) and the case is 34mm. wide-all beautiful. An authentic ROLEX leather band and ROLEX gold plated buckle (both new) are installed to enhance the look and value of this rare and collectable watch. This is a rare, fine and early 1920's ROLEX PRINCE RAILWAY duo-dial doctor's watch., with a (very early serial# 09645 and ref. 1527) housed in the original and completely CORRECT 23.5x42.5mm. rhodium plated RAILWAY STYLE ROLEX PRINCE case; which we recently had re-plated to perfection. The salmon dial was recently restored, with all the correct markings and fonts-that is a shadow on the lower part of the dial-all the toning is even. All three blued, steel hands are are completely original to the watch. This is a 1970's vintage ROLEX CELLINI housed in solid, the 18k. gold. ref. 4027 case. This ROLEX dress watch measures a modest 24x33mm. which is not a small size-looking very proportional on the average wrist.. The pristine, gold case with original winding crown looks excellent-no dings or scratches.  The black dial was restored; whilst retaining the original gold ROLEX crown logo and thin, simple gold hands.  The manual winding ROLEX movement was just cleaned and is accurately keeping time.. We are including an expensive (installed) gold plated AUTHENTIC ROLEX buckle to complete the look. Rectangular, gold ROLEX watches are hard to find.  I've said it before-Rolex dress watches will be the NEXT future collectable "hot" watch.  There are fewer of them compared to the sporting ROLEX. Here is a very rare 24.8x34.3mm. Sterling silver LARGE size ROLEX which was purchased from the original owner who was 90 years old!  This is a very early watch, circa 1920's with the original and signed, hinged, ROLEX SILVER case that still retains its clear hallmark on the case side and rear.  The original 15 jewel manual winding ROLEX movement  was just cleaned and is accurately keeping time.  The dial was rather aged, so we copied the original exploding dial font and restored the dial to perfection.  The glass crystal is original and has a small scratch.  We really want to keep as much of this watch original as possible, so we left the crystal. We even left the original patina on the Sterling case, as it has NEVER been polished.  This watch has been stored in a drawer for MANY decades. The hands are also original to the watch. The winding crown (also Sterling) is likely original as well.  I have NEVER seen another example of this ROLEX watch prior to this.  A fine, rare vintage watch priced at only $3495.

This is a correct, late 1930's ROLEX manual winding watch measuring a respectable 22x40mm., in a rhodium plated and stepped, striking case.  We had the original case re-plated in rhodium to restore its luster.  There is some pitting on the case re-plated in a new layer of Rhodium to prevent further sear, , but none on the front or sides of this fabulous case.  This is a Canadian version ROLEX, with an unsigned Canadian case, which ROLEX used to circumvent import duties back in the 30's-40's.  This case is completely correct and original to the watch.  The dial was restored, whilst retaining the original hands.  The original ROLEX, manual winding movement is also interesting; being fully gilded in a gold tone, having GENEVA STRIPES-just cleaned, and accurately keeping time.  We are finding fewer and fewer of this Canadian version ROLEX watches as they are usually in such poor, damaged and un-restorable condition. This is a great looking vintage ROLEX, and a bargain at only $1950!

This is an EXTREMELY RARE and desirable 1973 ROLEX 5513 MILSUB having the original "T" dial with matching ORIGINAL hands. The stainless steel case is all ORIGINAL with correct British military markings and case back serial numbers inside. The serial number indicates a date of 1973. This watch was purchased very recently from an elderly Canadian U.N. soldier who served in BRITAIN in the mid 1980's. He purchased this watch for $350 in the mid-80's from the original BRITISH owner and wore it infrequently. This bracelet was installed when purchased from the original owner. We show the bracelet the the pictures, then we removed it. It is not included. The NATO strap is now installed over top of the fixed lugs. As MILSUB collector know, these watches came in many variations, some with sword hands and others with Mercedes. This is an original 1962 ROLEX 5512 pointed crown guard Submariner with clear serial number 754xx and reference 5512 between the lugs.
