T his is an uncommon and exotic 1974 automatic winding WAKMANN YACHTING CHRONOGRAPH that is in as close to new old stock conditions we have ever seen. ! This vibrant and colorful complicated chronograph houses the automatic winding caliber 1341 movement made by LEMANIA...just cleaned, with all functions working smoothly! Note, the orange, triangular minute pointer and 12 hour register. The chromed case is excellent... the cleanest we've ever seen... often, These cases are EXTREMELY worn. There are very minor dings on the case side that are barely noticeable and extremely slight wear on the case back edge, again not really worth mentioning. Notice the unscathed starburst satin finish on the four lugs! The slate gray dial and the rotating day of the week bezel are all like new! The case is a hefty 42.2mm. across with a stainless snap back. Notice the upper crown that rotates the inner bezel allowing you to set the day of the week. Once set, one can see what the date is or day of the week any day throughout the month! This is very practical watch to wear! This variation is much rarer than the gold filled variety.
