is a very rare vintage, 1960, MASSIVE Universal Geneve Polerouter
Sub automatic winding dive watch. When I say massive...we
mean HUMONGOUS! Finally, we can use that word legitimately;
as it is in the dictionary. The shimmering steel case measures
a whopping 41.75 mm. across; maintaining the original upper
(bezel setting) and lower winding and time setting crowns.
The movement is a a special, micro-rotor winding, automatic,
28 jewel UNEVERSAL GENEVE; recently cleaned and overhauled.
The dial is completely original with raised, luminous markers
and pencil hands: having gold, gilt print with silver Arabic
numerals on the (mildly and commonly faded) rotating bezel.
This is an extremely rare and high quality watch that was
often used by the U.S. navy.
