T his is a fine, early and uncommon, 1960 TUDOR OYSTER PRINCE, known as "THE TUXEDO"; (a name we coined about decade ago)-with striking, "bulls-eye", quadrant, "pie-pan" dial. The radiating original, ribbed edges with steel markers lead your eye towards the black mid-section; having silver, gilt print, steel Dauphine style hands, sweep second and Tudor rose insignia-all original, with some character-lending age. This is an early and rare version of this particular watch (dating to 1960 with 33.5mm. "shimmering like platinum" stainless steel ROLEX OYSTER case, Rolex winding crown, RARE, inwardly curved "Bombe" lugs...just beautiful!  The automatic winding TUDOR (by ROLEX) movement was just cleaned by our ROLEX watchmaker and is accurately keeping time. These watches are very "hot" and desireable...with prices still low (in my opinion). They are one of the best looking vintage watches you can wear! Even though this dial is aged, in real life, it does look much better. $1195.
