This is a rare version of the ROLEX EXPLORER, which was only produced for the Commonwealth market (Canada, U.K., India Australia) and rarely appears, because few were produced.  The EXPLORER was produced in its familiar "sporting" model incarnations such as the 6610 and 1016, but they also produced dress versions (5500-5501) and the rarer "date" styles 5700 and 5701.  This is one of the toughest variations to find-the ref. 5700 EXPLORER DATE with a rare and completely original black dial and Dauphine hands measuring 34mm.  The entire condition of the watch is STELLAR. and the automatic winding caliber 1530 movement is cleaned and accurate. I highly advise adding this rarity to your collection-we keep one ourselves.
