Here is a rarity...a 1958 ROLEX AIR-KING reference 5504 OVERSIZED Super Precision. This is the largest and one of the rarest of all the AIR-KING series of watches. The case is the same measurement as the early EXPLORER watches from the same era and measures 36mm. across not including the crown. The ROLEX OYSTER case exhibits VERY fine overall condition and retains the original ROLEX OYSTER winding crown. The dial is completely original; having a desired, slight vintage "glow" with raised steel markers and matching Dauphine hands. The automatic winding caliber 1530 ROLEX movement was recently cleaned, overhauled and is keeping accurate time. This is a LARGE and fine looking watch on the wrist! If you are seeking a RARE ROLEX with a very simplistic style; you found it! In our opinion, the ROLEX AIR-KING is the next "hot ROLEX watch" due to its' understated style.
