NEW!
We
were quite thrilled to obtain this extremely rare circa 1970,
stainless steel reference 3579 PATEK PHILIPPE! The 33x38mm.
(7mm. thick) tonneau shaped case is quite rare; being waterproof
with screw back and retaining its' original logo winding crown.
The ref. 3579 waterproof, signed, PATEK PHILIPPE steel case
is in fine condition; with only a few marks from normal use.
The very fine PATEK PHILIPPE movement is the M. Caliber 23-300
PM, stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated,
"fausses côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line
lever escapement, free-sprung Gyromax balance adjusted to
heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions with shock absorber
and self-compensating Breguet balance spring. The movement
is clean and accurate. The spotless, original silver dial
is sunken, with raised, steel markers and baton hands is truly
spectacular to gaze upon. Stainless steel PATEK PHILIPPE watches
(along with platinum) are extremely rare and are investment
grade. Finding a steel PATEK PHILIPPE in a waterproof case
is truly VERY DIFFICULT. Keep in mind; PATEKS of this era
were smaller in stature...understated and VERY fine. If you
are looking for a large watch, this is not it. This rare stainless
PATEK is prices at only $9950. Bankwire please.
