This is a vintage early 1940's PATEK PHILIPPE rectangular 18k. gold watch that measures a respectable 22.8x39.5mm. The case really sprawls across the width in both width and length. Notice the fabulous condition of the original case with steppe d and curved lugs-all the hallmarks are deep and clear. One can tell, the owner "babied" this fine and rare watch over the years. The manual winding PATEK PHILIPPE movement is accurate after a recent cleaning. The original dial shows usual edging on the extreme edges. With the naked eye the dial really does look quite fine. This is an extremely rare and fine Patek Philippe that will surely appreciate in value over time. $8,500-bankwire please.
