This is an OYSTER Grenfell from the 1940's and is part of the Canadian Oyster series. The Grenfell is one of the more uncommon variations. This gold filled case measures 29mm. and retains the original Oyster patent winding crown. The stainless Steel Oyster case back dates the watch to 1942. This dial is original and is highlighted with raised, gold tone Arabic numerals, minute track, and bullseye ring. The gold tone hands are all original. The movement is caliber 59 which is a ROLEX made movement, just cleaned and accurate These Oyster series watches were marketed to Canadians going overseas in WW2 and we believe are currently under valued
