Here is a very rare, BLACK dial Oyster CENTREGRAPH, produced by ROLEX, for the CANADIAN market only and dates to about 1942. These are known as the boy's size (29mm.) watches and were sold to CANADIAN soldiers going overseas in WW2. This black dial is truly amazing-all original and still has the original hands and lume to match the Arabic numerals. The movement is the caliber 59 and is correctly signed "ROLEX" under the dial. Our ROLEX watchmaker just serviced this watch and is keeping accurate time. The original OYSTER PATENT winding crown still remains, with sold gold capping worn off. The gold plated case with original steel (OYSTER( back was just re-plated to re-gain its original splendour. This watch is "all about the dial". Just $1450 for this rare WW2 black dial OYSTER.
