This is a vintage, 1950's Jaeger LeCoultre Futurematic having the caliber 497 automatic winding movement. The 35mm. 10k. gold filled case looks visually great with the naked eye. There is some wear on the high pints of the case as is usually seen on these watches. Notice the backwind and back set crown; which provides a clean look. Look at the black dial, which is completely ORIGINAL and rare to find! We removed the crystal to obtain a clear picture of the dial. The polished Dauphine, pitched hands complete the clean look. The horn lugs pay homage to 50's watch design. This fine Le Coultre watch was cleaned, serviced and is keeping accurate time. The register at 3:00 displays running seconds, whilst at 9:00, the hours remaining in the mainspring are displayed. These rare black dial versions are EXTREMELY hard to find! Only $1695.
