The brand name belongs to the independent Sowind Group, a company that owns the famed name "Girard-Perregaux". The company is named after the watchmaker Daniel Jeanrichard, born in 1665, who was historically quite important in the early days of watchmaking. This is a NEW watch...unused and MASSIVE! The case measures a whopping 43mm. and is 11.2mm. thick. The ivory dial is sunken, with raised pattern and blued steel hands and offset sub-seconds for added visual interest.
