This SWISS watch is made by GEORGE VON BURG was produced in the late 1990's. We liked it because it has "vintage appeal". The movement is also the famous high quality and reliable valjoux 7750 rotor automatic, that is keeping excellent time, with all functions working perfectly. The striking black dial with large luminous Arabic numerals, 12 hour, 30 minute and running seconds register, along with the day/date aperture look great! This watch is H U G E, measuring 40mm. across and 16mm. THICK in 18k. gold plate. The stainless steel screw back case features a crown guard to protect the screw down winding crown. This watch is waterproof to 100 metres (new these were $2295) and are VERY hard to find now.
