Here
is a stainless steel ETERNA BIRKS military measuring a full sized 35mm. dating
to around the late 40's. The original and deep black dial with raised luminous
markers, pencil style hands and sub seconds is essentially close to pristine! Note the interesting,
inwardly curved lugs on the fine stainless steel screw-back case. The manual winding ETERNA movement was just cleaned and is accurate. Birks is Canada's equivalent to USA's TIFFANY's (a high end watch and jewelry retailer). $895.
