We
were pleased to find this vintage 1979 CORUM $5 (1912) solid
gold watch. This woman's watch measures 24.5mm. across and only 4.5mm. thin. This 18k. watch and 22k. gold coin are in very fine condition;
having the coin edge case, decorative bezel and sapphire crystal,
with both sides of the 1912 $5 gold piece visible. There
are no dings or scratches to the case. The winding crown is
accented and topped with a round brilliant-cut diamond, set
with its culet facing up. The band and gold plated buckle are original CORUM. That is tarnish on the buckle, it polishes off in seconds. The understated baton hands set
off the look. This is a fine ORIGINAL example. The manual winding (mechanical) CORUM movement
is accurate.
