We were please to find this vintage, 1980 CORUM $10 (1899) solid gold watch with all the original box, papers and receipt! This is the hard-to-find $10 version; which is the smaller in size, measuring 28.5x35mm. across. The $20 version is the larger watch. This watch and coin are in very fine condition; having the coin edge case, notches bezel and sapphire crystal; with both sides of the 1899 $10 gold piece visible. There are no dings or scratches to the case. The winding crown is accented and topped with a round brilliant-cut diamond, set with its culet facing up. The understated baton hands set off the look! The manual winding 18 jewel movement by CORUM is very fine in its' quality and manufacture and of course, is accurate. This is rare to find these watches; never mind the box and papers; which is even rarer! This watch must have been lightly worn; as the original band and buckle are intact.These CORUM watches are still sold new; and in the $10 size they are $9,500 new with a cheap quartz movement! Keep in mind, this is the original mechanical version. Please keep in mind the size of this watch. It is a mens' watch; but is smaller in size; perfect for a woman too! $2995.
