"wheel tread" band. The chronometer grade, automatic winding chronograph movement powers this fine watch. The stainless steel case is 38mm. across, with tachymeter bezel-perfect for timing auto races. The Mille Miglia is an ITALIAN open road endurance auto race that took place between 1927 and '57. This race made cars such as the Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Porche and Maserati famous due to their participation. I love the high quality tire gauge that comes with this watch!
