Here is one of the most desirable of the BULOVA ACCUTRONS! This is the railroad approved version; having the easy-to-read and original (pristine) white dial with black Arabic numerals and red sweep seconds. This watch is UNUSED and NEW OLD STOCK! We purchased this ACCUTRON from the son of the original owner ( a railroader in Kansas) who was still using his earlier steel version and had not gotten around to wearing this one yet. The original band and signed buckle are also present. Notice the ACCUTRON setting "handle" located at the back of the watch. The gold filled case is free of major dings or scratches and measures 35mm. The tarnish on the watch can be polished away in seconds. We left the watch original, pristine and un-touched. Bulova began developing Accutron in 1952 and they came into mass production on October 25, 1960 and were produced until 1977. Some even see the 360 cycle/second hum of an Accutron has a therapeutic and relaxing effect on the wearer...no kidding! This could be due to the high magnetic field created by the vibrating crystals and coil. This watch is very accurate and a new battery was just installed.
