This is a fine and large vintage 1968 BREITLING NAVITIMER reference 806 housed in the original gold plated case with stainless steel back which displays absolutely spectacular condition. The massive 41mm. case with chamfered lugs really looks splendid and retains the original BREITLING logo winding crown. The manual winding venus 178 movement is considered to be one of the the best made by BREITLING; this one fully cleaned, serviced with all functions operating flawlessly. The original dial, having gilt print and luminous markers is all original and very fine, as is the original. inside turning sliderule and outer bezel. We have even installed a very high quality band that is a replica of the ORIGINAL leather bands that were installed WHEN NEW on these watches. These BREITLING 806 watches were are highly sought after, valuable and ever-increasing in price due to their spectacular looks. We wear this exact watch quite regularly. $3295.
