Here is an early 1900's Sterling silver desk clock, which is actually an 8 day Sterling ASPREY pocket watch mounted in the STERLING case with leather back. This watch comes with some provenance; from the ca. 1630 english estate of SHARTSTED COURT once owned by Faunce De-Laune (as seen in the initials engraved at the top of the clock). Paperwork mentioning the estate is included. The watch itself is quite large, at 69mm. and the 4x4.6 inch leather and silver case with stand makes a perfect mantle or desk clock that will stay wound for up to 8 days. The manual winding movement was just cleaned by our watchmaker. The entire package is original and without any damage-very clean! All the patina remains lending a great vintage appeal.
